Bind a Domain and Set Up DNS Resolution

Scenario

This guide shows how to bind a domain to the cloud virtual host and set up its DNS resolution.

Prerequisites

Log in to the official website control center, select Cloud Virtual Host under Product Management on the left, select the host you want to manage and click “Manage” to enter the cloud virtual host admin console.

Steps

Click “Bind Domain” and enter the domain to bind. Repeat for each additional domain.

After binding the domain, add a CNAME record in your DNS resolution pointing to the cloud virtual host. For how to add a CNAME record, refer to the relevant documentation. As shown below:

Parameter description:

• Host record: enter the bound domain
• Type: CNAME
• Record value: enter the server name shown in the overview of the cloud virtual host admin console

As shown:

Once done, wait for the DNS resolution to take effect and the domain binding is complete.
