Agent FAQ
1. Can an individual become an agent?
Answer: Yes. As long as the individual complies with the agent terms, signs the agent agreement with us, and can handle users’ “invoices” and bear the corresponding taxes and fees, they can become an agent.
2. Why is a prepayment required?
Answer: Since ICANN requires that all new domain registrations be confirmed and the registration fees paid at the time of registration, and to protect the agent’s registration interests, we require you to pay a certain prepayment first. Every service you choose is deducted directly from this prepayment until it is used up.
3. What procedures are needed to become an agent?
Answer: First, fill in the “Agent Registration Form” online. After our confirmation, you will receive the “Agent Agreement”. Please fill it in carefully, print two copies, stamp them, and mail them to us together with a copy of your business license (a copy of your ID card for individuals), along with a certain prepayment. Within 2 business days of receiving your documents and prepayment, we will mail back the stamped “Agent Agreement” together with the invoice, and notify you of the agent registration name and password by email. You can then officially start using our agent registration system.
4. How do I access and use the control center?
Answer: After successfully becoming an agent, or after registering a domain or applying for hosting, you will receive a username and password from us. Use them to enter the control center from our website homepage: https://www.eranet.com/. If you are an agent, the system will remind you of the agent status after entering the control center, and the prices of all services will automatically be lowered to agent prices.
5. Can I become the exclusive agent in my region?
Answer: Out of consideration for a competitive mechanism, we do not currently sign “exclusive agent” agreements for any region. However, we will provide agents with the corresponding support to ensure that every agent receives fair treatment.
